3 On-Device Data Policy

We understand how personal and sensitive the data stored on your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or game console is. We observe a strict Zero-Data Inspection standard:

Customer Backup Recommendation: While standard hardware repairs (such as screen replacements, battery installs, and port soldering) do not modify your device's internal storage, we strongly recommend performing a local or cloud backup (iCloud, Google Drive, OneDrive) before drop-off whenever possible.

4 Data Storage & Safeguards

We take modern technical and physical precautions to safeguard your records:

• Encrypted Invoicing: Customer records and payment transactions are processed over SSL-encrypted industry-standard POS software. Credit card details are never stored on our local computers.
• Passcode Eradication: Any passcodes provided on intake work orders are wiped or shredded once final bench testing is complete and the device has been collected.
• Secure Physical Storage: Devices left overnight for diagnostic testing or micro-soldering are locked within secure storage overnight.

5 Third-Party Disclosures

Nanotech Mobile does not trade, rent, or sell your personal details to outside parties. Disclosures are strictly limited to:

• Payment Service Providers: Trusted processors (such as Moneris, Stripe, or Interac) to facilitate credit or debit transactions.
• Law Enforcement / Legal Demands: In rare cases where disclosure is mandated by law, court subpoena, or bona fide police investigations into stolen hardware.

• Access & Review: You can request a summary of the contact details and service history stored in your customer profile.
• Correction: You have the right to request the correction of any inaccurate or outdated information.
